So you need buttermilk for a recipe.. but you hardly ever use it and know the rest of the container will be wasted..happens to me all the time.
Here is an easy recipe so you can make it when you need it!…
2 Cups Milk
9 teaspoons vinegar OR lemon juice…
Add the vinegar/lemon juice to your milk stir.. let sit for 10-15 minutes to allow milk to sour and curdle.. use in recipes like you normally would. Store remaining in a sealed container.
Hope this makes your life a little easier and less expensive
